David Bridwell passed through Weatherford on his way to play a gig at Lucky Vines Vineyard and Winery in Dublin, and took the time to walk around and capture what the town has to offer.
Exploring Downtown Weatherford
The centerpiece of downtown is the Parker County Courthouse, a big, striking building that's hard to miss when you're driving in. It sits in the middle of a roundabout with traffic lights, which makes navigating the area a bit tricky — especially on foot with the heavily trafficked roads. Once you do get around the square, there's a solid mix of local shops and spots to eat. You'll find coffee shops, antique stores, bakeries, a hardware store, furniture shops, cafes, restaurants, and even a vintage car museum right off the square.
